MHS Volleyball Ends Season After Tough Losses

MHS volleyball has ended their season at 8-8 after a crushing 3-0 loss vs Frederick on Sunday.

The loss comes after another tough 3-0 defeat in the team’s previous game against Coronado.

“They played well, and we can’t help some of the injuries we’ve come across along the way, it’s just part of the game. They played with tremendous adversity and I’m incredibly proud of how they performed as a team this year,” head coach Shane Forrest said.

However, there is an upside. MHS is expected to have their entire roster return for next season. This would give the team 10 seniors for the 2021-2022 season.

“It’s a lot to look forward to, and why I’m not trying to beat myself up too hard over our last few games. We’re strong, but next year our team will be even stronger,” Forrest said.
