The Montrose High School football team has had their fair share of hardships so far this offseason, with their multiple camps being canceled, and now their season has been moved to the Spring.

“It’s been tough adjusting, but I understand that we have to follow (CHSAA) guidelines,” junior Isaiah Alcazar said.

“I’m most disappointed about not having our Western State camp over the summer, but the extra long offseason has been nice,” senior Colten Brueggeman said.

The team is scheduled to begin practicing on February 22, with their first game being on March 4th against an unknown opponent.

“I’m anxious to get back on the field, but we still have a lot of things to iron out,” senior Trent Blundell said.
